Job Description
As an Assembler, you will efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials, following plans and specifications as directed. You will understand and follow written and verbal instructions and drawings, working primarily with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components. Experience in carpentry, roofing, material handling, and mechanical assembly is preferred, along with maintaining a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.Operate hand and power tools effectively.Use measuring devices like squares and tape measures accurately.Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements.Follow instructions and execute assigned duties accurately.Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, cutting, and repair.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment.Ability to select and operate the proper tools for tasks.Experience in general trade skills for siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly.Must be able to read tape measure down to 1/16th inch.2+ years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.Positive attitude and collaborative mindset.Knowledge of small part/electrical assembly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an open-air building, exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. Collaborate in a team of 2-3 people. Regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body and work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Be capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment, and lift up to 70 pounds.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
