**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and packaging various essential products such as flashlight battery packs for commercial flights, first aid kits, survival kits, and demonstration bags for flight attendants. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and the flexibility to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read work orders and follow production drawings, utilizing sample assemblies to create panel parts.
+ Follow written and verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
+ Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) safely and maintain a safe and clean environment.
+ Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
+ Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
+ Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
+ Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies in cases/external hardware.
+ Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working with electronics, which may include computers, phones, or gaming systems.
+ Ability to read work orders and perform electrical assembly.
+ General production experience including soldering and machine operation.
+ Electrical wiring skills.

+ Ability to interact effectively in a manufacturing environment.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is well-lit, quiet, and temperature-controlled. It is a static-controlled facility, which can cause some manageable humidity in parts of the plant. You will typically work in a bench setting with a team lead or supervisor nearby, and though collaboration is important, most tasks are performed individually.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Aurora, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.
