Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

The role involves performing a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations and conducting inspections to ensure correctness. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints, including screwdrivers and crimpers. You will apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell, record production time and quantity data, and actively demonstrate all safety policies and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesConduct routine mechanical assembly operations.Inspect own work and the work of others to ensure correctness.Use hand and power tools for product assembly based on blueprints.Apply process specifications for production within an assigned cell.Record production time and quantity data.Demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures.Participate in cross-training activities.Assemble detectors for commercial and military aircrafts, including brazing, leak tests, and working with switches/mates.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.Ability to read and communicate in English.High School Diploma required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
