Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler 1st Shift to join their dynamic team. As an Assembler 1st Shift, you will be an integral part of the production department, supporting the assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent work ethic, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembler 1st Shift

Location: Leeds, AL

Pay Range: $17.00/hour

Shift: First Shift (6:00 am to 4:30 pm)

What's the Job?

Feed raw materials into machinery and assist in the assembly process on the production line Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly Utilize handheld tools such as air guns and wrenches to assemble products Monitor and maintain inventory levels at work stations to ensure smooth operations Rework and repair assembled products according to engineering specifications and changes

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years manufacturing or assembly experience Proficiency in reading a tape measure and understanding technical drawings High attention to detail and strong self-motivation skills Basic computer navigation skills preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35 lbs
