Assembler - 1st Shift
**Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift** **Job Description** Join our team as an Assembler on the 1st Shift, working Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. In this role, you will engage in buffing or polishing small parts, trimming components, and completing simple assembly operations of large or medium-sized parts, either assisted by hand or machine. Your work will be repetitive, focusing on meeting company quotas, and will involve assembling and packing medical devices in both clean room and non-clean room environments according to specified guidelines. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and check medical devices following strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), specifications, and procedures. + Perform various assembly process steps at multiple workstations throughout manufacturing line rotation, including manual assembly of raw materials, bonding of raw materials, and assembly through manual torque application. + Execute primary packaging process steps for medical devices, including pouching units with labeled raw materials. + Conduct in-process quality inspections and checks, such as visual inspection of devices, visual inspection of packaging materials, and air flow testing of devices. + Document actions, data, or results regarding manufacturing processes accurately according to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). + Perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure product quality. + Clean and organize manufacturing equipment, tools, and supplies. **Essential Skills** + Manual Dexterity and good vision are essential. + Ability to pass a visual acuity test (20x25 corrected vision) and Particulate Matter Certification. + Proficiency in reading and comprehending manufacturing procedures. + Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. + High School Diploma or GED. + At least 3 to 6 months of manufacturing experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong communication abilities with leads and supervisors. + May be required to pass visual acuity test (20x25 corrected vision) and Particulate Matter Certification. **Work Environment** You will work in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment where gowning up is necessary. The setting is designed to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization, ensuring the quality of medical devices produced. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.20 - $20.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
