**Job Title: Assembler - $19/HR - 1st Shift** Job Description Join a world-leading manufacturer of professional car washing systems as an Assembler, supporting warehouse operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless assembly functions, allowing production departments to focus on their value-added activities. Responsibilities + Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for precise part specifications. + Operate drills, saws, and tape measures efficiently. + Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring quality control of your own parts. + Use blueprints and design sketches to verify proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products. + Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units as required. + Exercise authority to halt production if nonconforming parts are detected. + Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices, following PPE requirements. + Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assignments accurately. + Comply with company 5S standards. Essential Skills + 1 year of assembly experience. + Ability to work with hand tools and possess mechanical skills. + Mechanically inclined with a keen attention to detail. + Familiarity with material handling. Work Environment Work primarily in the warehouse and dock areas, which are not temperature-controlled but remain comfortable with bay doors open in warm weather. Enjoy an air-conditioned cafeteria. The warehouse is separated by department and maintained in a relatively clean state. You may be required to assist with unloading and loading freight. Expect to keep a tidy work station even as you engage in hands-on tasks. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
