Sportsman Boats Mfg. is looking for Assembly Associates to work in the finished assembly department to wire, install, motors and cushions, cap, rig, and finish our 20-35 ft center console boats. What you will do: + Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification, meeting high quality standards + Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.)  + Build T-tops and consoles + Inspect parts for accuracy and quality + Follow safety procedures + Maintain area tools and equipment + Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules + Able to read and understand units of measure + Physically able to climb in and out of boats  + Work as a part of a team in a fast paced production environment + Be challenged and have fun along the way To be considered you must have: + Experience with air, hand, and power tools + Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, carpentry, or other related field  + Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day Why should you consider joining the Sportsman team? + We promote from within on a regular and consistent basis + Every employee is offered lean manufacturing and 5s training + Our employees are treated with respect + We offer quarterly production bonuses + You will learn from the best in the industry + Great benefits including 10 days paid time off, insurance, 401k, and more!
