**Job Title: Asphalt Paving Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Paving Operator to join our construction team. This role involves running the screw on the paver to apply asphalt to various surfaces, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. **Responsibilities** + Operate asphalt paving machines to apply asphalt to roadbeds, parking lots, and other surfaces. + Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on paving equipment. + Collaborate with other crew members to ensure efficient and quality work. + Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. + Operate milling machine. + Report daily directly to executive superintendent. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certification in asphalt paving or related field. + Experience with different types of paving equipment. + Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance. + 5+ years of experience in construction industry leadership, preferably in excavating or civil construction industries. + 5+ years of experience running heavy equipment. + Ability to read blueprints and check elevations. + Understanding of basic math and measurements required. + Demonstrated ability to operate asphalt/paving equipment and power tools. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, quality, and efficiency in a dynamic and supportive environment. Work sites are within a one-hour radius of the shop in Irwin, PA. Candidates may also be required to perform general laborer duties as needed.
