Job Description
This Asphalt Operator position involves working on various projects, with typical workdays spanning 10-12 hours from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
ResponsibilitiesOperate asphalt paving machines to apply asphalt to roadbeds, parking lots, and other surfaces.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on paving equipment.Collaborate with other crew members to ensure efficient and quality work.Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Operate Milling machine.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma.Experience as an asphalt paver or similar role in the construction industry.Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and equipment operation.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Company Benefits

Work Environment
Work hours are typically from 6am to 5pm, with flexibility required for overtime and weekend work. The job may include some general laborer duties as needed. Work sites are located within a one-hour radius of the shop in Plum/ Irwin, PA.
Pay Rate
Starting rate - $25-$35/hr (depending on years of operating experience) *room to advance to $40+/hr in the future!
