Job Title: Aseptic Technician - 1st ShiftJob Description Join our team as an Aseptic Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our products. You will be responsible for washing glassware and medical components, working in a controlled cleanroom environment, and performing aseptic cleaning and packaging. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities + Wash glassware and medical components using designated equipment. + Work in an ISO-6 & 7 cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE. + Perform aseptic cleaning and packaging of products. + Maintain aseptic samples according to GMP standards. + Monitor process systems and equipment for proper operation. + Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks and assist the maintenance team as needed. + Participate in safety committees and adhere to all safety rules and regulations. + Accurately complete required documentation for all tasks. + Clean, sanitize, and disinfect workstations before and after use. + Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. + Adapt to different processes depending on the client/project requirements. Essential Skills + Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterilization. + Experience working in a laboratory and cleanroom settings. + Understanding of GMP and CGMP standards. + 1-2 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical or sterile processing. + Operation and sterile processing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience with GMP and following SOP. + Good documentation practices. + Basic computer skills, familiarity with internal databases. + Punctual, flexible, and hardworking with a desire to grow and stay long term. Work Environment You will work in ISO level 6 & 7 cleanrooms, requiring gowning for 6-10 hours at a time with breaks in between. The role offers growth potential within the company and involves working in a dynamic environment focused on steam and dry heat sterilization for the pharmaceutical, compound pharmacy, medical device, and biotech industries. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
