Job Description

We’re looking for a visionary Art Director for Women’s Collections at H&M Studios. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual storytelling of our full assortment, connecting with a broad and diverse customer base through inspiring, fashion-forward content. 

As Art Director, you’ll play a key role in developing and elevating H&M’s visual identity. You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative team to ensure every campaign and piece of content reflects our brand’s tone of voice. 
 
Your key responsibilities include:   

Concept development – Create and visualise shoot concepts that reflect our brand identity and resonate with our customers. Mood boards – Develop compelling mood boards to communicate your creative vision. Creative direction – Lead styling, lighting, and overall visual execution across shoots. Team collaboration – Guide photographers, stylists, and hair & make-up artists to bring your vision to life. Set & location – Oversee set design and location selection to ensure the right atmosphere and aesthetic. Quality control – Maintain high visual standards across every detail. Trend awareness – Stay ahead of fashion and beauty trends to keep our content relevant and inspiring. Post-production – Supervise retouching and final edits to ensure consistency and quality. Budget management – Work with producers and Art Buyers to manage resources and budgets 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in art direction and a portfolio that showcases your ability to create visually compelling content for Women’s fashion. You understand the fashion landscape - its trends, people, brands, and cultural movements and know how to translate that into powerful visual storytelling. 
  

WHO YOU ARE

Extensive experience as an Art Director (or equivalent) within Women’s fashion. A deep understanding of branding and how to secure a consistent visual outcome. Advanced knowledge of fashion, styling, and cultural trends. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment. A creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This is a full-time permanent position  based at our Studios in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible.
