Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and controlling access as required by site-specific protocols.Assist with crowd control and manage situations involving disturbances or emergencies in accordance with established guidelines.Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports and incident logs.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to support incident response.Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or suspicious activities in the government facility environment.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
