Area Manager, Home Adjusting - QLD

As the Home Adjusting Area Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of Home claims handled by our Loss Adjusters, ensuring performance aligns with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and Sedgwick’s high standards. You’ll play a key leadership role—coaching your team, optimising workflow, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving service delivery.
 

What are my accountabilities?

Lead day‑to‑day Home Adjusting operations, ensuring smooth workflow, quality outcomes, and SLA adherence.

Support, coach and develop Loss Adjusters to elevate technical capability, customer focus, and overall performance.

Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring client expectations are clearly understood and consistently met.

Use data insights (Darwin, Power BI) to manage portfolios, drive efficiencies, and achieve financial, compliance and operational targets.


About you

You’re an experienced insurance leader with a deep understanding of the claims lifecycle, regulatory requirements and client delivery expectations.

You bring proven people‑leadership capability, with a passion for coaching and developing high‑performing teams.

You’re commercially astute and comfortable using data to inform decisions, manage portfolios, and drive continuous improvement.

You embrace digital tools, adapt easily to change, and thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
