Ecolab has an opportunity available for an Area Manager to join our industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts in Food & Beverage Industrial. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers.

Preferred location will be Southern Alberta, Calgary/Lethbridge or close surrounding areaPosition territory area will include Calgary, Lethbridge, Taber, Fort Macleod and surrounding areas. Some travel to Red Deer and Edmonton will be required. 30% overnight travel requiredMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree5+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience utilizing a consultative sales approach2 - 3 years leading and developing teamsAbility travel as required to support the districtAbility to work varying hours (evenings, overnight) as neededAbility to travel to the US for training/meetingsPosition requires a current and valid driver's licenseNo Immigration Sponsorship is available for this opportunityPhysical Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.); MBA preferred10+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience to include calling on multi-level plant or facilities management, and developing executive-level relationshipsExtensive knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems highly preferredExperience in F&B processing/manufacturing industries is an assetAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range
This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms. Total expected compensation is in the range of $138,600–$173,200.
Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
