Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to lead a high‑profile, multi‑site food service portfolio across Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage prestigious corporate and financial clients, oversee a $6M+ managed volume, and lead strong on‑site and regional teams.

 

The Area General Manager will be based on‑site at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, serving as the primary operational and client leader, while providing administrative and strategic oversight for three additional locations in Baltimore, Charlotte, and Richmond.

 

Portfolio Overview

You will oversee food operations across four distinguished accounts, featuring café, catering, and coffee shop

Federal Reserve Bank – Richmond, VACafé (5 stations), catering, and coffee shopFederal Reserve Bank – Baltimore, MDCafé (3 stations) and cateringFederal Reserve Bank – Charlotte, NCCafé (4 stations) and cateringHunton Andrews Kurth Law Firm – Richmond, VACafé (4 stations) and catering

All cafés operate Monday–Friday, serving breakfast and lunch only.

Incentives M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, no weekends What You'll Do

Operational & Financial Leadership

Serve as the on‑site General Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of RichmondLead day‑to‑day operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, and safetyOwn the budget, forecasting, and financial performance for the full area portfolioDrive efficiency and profitability across a combined $6M+ managed volume

People & Team Leadership

Directly lead a team of 3 salaried managers and approximately 30 hourly employees at the Richmond locationProvide coaching, guidance, and administrative oversight for management teams at the Baltimore, Charlotte, and law firm accountsBuild a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

Client & Relationship Management

Act as the primary client partner for the Federal Reserve Bank of RichmondMaintain strong executive‑level relationships across all accountsEnsure Sodexo consistently exceeds client expectations and contract commitments

Multi‑Site Oversight

Provide strategic and administrative leadership for three additional locationsEnsure brand standards, operational consistency, and financial discipline across all sitesSupport site leaders with best practices, problem‑solving, and performance improvement What We Offer
