A well-established, full-service design firm is looking to add an Architectural Project Manager to their office in Huntsville!
Job Description
This role provides leadership and direct responsibility for production in planning, developing, and managing all phases of a project. The Project Manager is accountable for the quality of work performed, project schedules, client service, staff utilization, and the reputation of the office.
Responsibilities
Direct daily activities of design team, including in-house team members and outside consultantsAssist the Principal with proposals and fee negotiationsMonitor and be accountable for project budgets and profitabilityPrepare and control project schedulesMonitor contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms and established proceduresMaintain and enhance professional relationships with clients, consultants, and othersSecure future work through overt marketing effortsPrepare and participate in presentationsAttend, participate, and lead project meetings both in-house and at job sitesPerform on-site construction observations and prepare associated reportsAssist the Principal in the training and project performance evaluation of personnelProvide leadership to ensure projects are completed in accordance with designated designs, codes, specifications, industry standards, office budgets, and schedule requirementsEnsure the accuracy and quality of all technical workReview invoices before distribution for final reviewDevelop a training plan in conjunction with a supervisor to improve job skills and enhance career developmentEssential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related field preferredExperience in project management and architectural designProficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Document production experience requiredJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
