Architectural Job Captain – Providence, RI

About the Role

Our client is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to support design, documentation, and coordination efforts across active institutional and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys contributing to multiple phases of the architectural process. Candidates will work closely with project architects, designers, and consultants to advance both design development and production efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and develop construction documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project standards.Support design development and schematic design efforts across multiple ongoing projects.Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design and technical issues.Assist in construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and supporting field-related needs.Utilize Revit to create high-quality drawings, models, and documentation.Coordinate work across disciplines to maintain project schedules and deliverables.Required Experience & Skills4–5 years of professional experience in architecture.Proficiency in Revit (primary production tool).Strong experience producing Construction Documents.Experience in design, including schematic and design development phases.Experience with institutional project types preferred.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and time management skills.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field required.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $39.00/hr.
