Hiring Architectural Designers For School Projects!

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer with 3–5 years of experience working on K–12, higher education, and/or municipal projects. The ideal candidate excels in collaborative team environments, brings strong design and rendering capabilities, and communicates effectively with both clients and internal teams.

While deep technical expertise in building systems is not required, you must be able to contribute meaningfully to design development, presentations, renderings, and construction documentation. This role involves direct client interaction, preparing both interior and exterior design concepts, and integrating approved designs into construction drawings under the guidance of an Architect or Project Manager. The ability to manage multiple deadlines and stay on schedule is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in design development, producing renderings, presentations, and construction documents.Meet with clients to understand programmatic needs and develop design concepts for review and approval.Create interior and exterior design visuals, including high‑quality renderings and presentation materials.Collaborate with the project team to translate approved designs into construction drawings.Maintain adherence to project schedules and manage multiple concurrent deadlines.Required Skills & Experience3–5 years of experience in K–12, higher education, and/or municipal project work.Strong design, rendering, and overall visual communication skills.Experience contributing to design development, presentations, and construction documentation.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Architecture (4‑year) or Bachelor of Architecture (5‑year) degree.Ability to work in SketchUp, Revit, and other modeling or presentation software.Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication abilities.Work EnvironmentSmall but growing architectural practice with a collaborative, hands‑on culture.In‑office position, Monday through Friday.Team of four employees, offering a close‑knit, supportive environment with visibility across all project phases.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
