Architectural Designer
Job Title: Architectural Designer Job Description Join a dynamic and highly collaborative architectural firm specializing in architecture, planning, and interior design services for domestic and international clients. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Architect to contribute to groundbreaking projects in commercial, retail, mixed-use, science and technology, hospitality, and multi-family residential sectors. This full-time position is based in our Raleigh office. Responsibilities + Lead the design and production of construction documents for multiple projects. + Interface with clients and consultants, displaying strong presentation and interpersonal skills. + Detail architectural materials and systems, focusing on envelope systems design. + Oversee construction administration, ensuring compliance with codes and regulatory processes. + Engage in lab planning and equipment surveying for biology, chemistry labs, tissue culture, cleanrooms, and vivariums. + Manage junior staff, fostering an environment of encouragement and growth. Essential Skills + 0-4 years of post-graduate architectural experience. + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. + Experience in project management and team leadership. + Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Architectural License is preferred. + Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred. + Experience with mixed-use, commercial buildings, and large commercial retail projects. + LEED certification and AIA membership are advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
