Job Title: Architectural Designer Job Description We are seeking an Architectural Drafter/Designer with a Bachelor of Architecture or a similar degree to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects, be proficient in Revit, and possess a working knowledge of construction document preparation. This role is perfect for an independent self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Manage multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects + Utilize REVIT and AutoCAD for project design and management. + Apply experience in historic preservation and rehabilitation. + Oversee multiple filings and drawing sets for large preservation and rehabilitation multifamily projects across the NY Metro Area. + Lead a team of junior architects and consultants, managing client relationships and meeting deadlines. + Visit sites to identify practical solutions to field conditions. + Produce drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of thousands of apartments around New York City and the region. + Travel to the field as needed for measurements and site photographs. + Design, detail, and draft plans. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. + Proficiency in REVIT. + Experience in multi-family projects. + Knowledge of building codes. + Ability to manage client relationships and project deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with historic preservation and rehabilitation. + Familiarity with construction administration and NYCHA. + Technical BIM responsibilities. + 2-3 years of experience in the field. + Experience with design development and project management. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Suffern, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
