Job Title: Architectural Design Technician

Job Description

Seeking an Architectural Design Technician to support large-scale retail remodel programs in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. This onsite role in Issaquah, WA focuses on producing and coordinating AutoCAD floor plans, fixture layouts, and elevations while ensuring designs align with brand standards, client requirements, and architectural/MEP coordination. The technician will collaborate with architects, designers, and project teams, managing multiple projects at once and supporting efficient rollout and prototype updates.

Responsibilities

Produce and coordinate AutoCAD floor plans, fixture layouts, and elevations.Ensure designs align with brand standards and client requirements.Collaborate with architects, designers, and MEP partners.Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Support efficient rollout and prototype updates.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD for producing accurate, buildable retail plans, layouts, and elevations.Strong construction documentation and coordination skills.Excellent organization and time-management in high-volume workflows.High attention to detail with clean, accurate drawing and portfolio standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in architectural design, construction documents, and construction administration.Ability to handle cross-discipline and client communication effectively.Experience in food and beverage (F&B) environments is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is a collaborative office with 20 people in Seattle, closely working with offices in Boise and Montana. Standard hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility as long as a 40-hour work week is maintained and availability from 9:00am to 4:00pm is ensured. Clear and effective communication with other offices, clients, contractors, and permitting departments is crucial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Issaquah, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.50/hr.
