Job Title: Architectural DesignerJob Description

Join our dynamic firm where you will engage in planning, design, construction administration, inspection, and code consultation for luxury residential, dispensary, commercial, aviation, entertainment, sports, retail, institutional, and hospitality projects.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with architectural design and documentation across multiple active projects.Develop drawings and construction documents using Revit.Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.Collaborate closely with the principal and small project teams.Help resolve design issues and revise drawings as projects evolve.Coordinate with consultants and internal team members.Maintain accuracy and quality control throughout project documentation.Essential Skills1–5 years of professional architectural experience; 1 year will be considered for strong candidates.Proficiency in Revit.Basic understanding of architectural principles, detailing, and construction documents.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily projects is strongly preferred.Must be able to produce full sets of construction documents and design development.Strong architectural fundamentals and problem-solving ability.Coachable, detail-oriented, and accountable.Comfortable working in a small, in-office environment.Work Environment

Our small office, comprising three full-time employees and two consultants, operates from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We prefer a fully in-office setup but offer flexibility for occasional remote work. Our informal culture prioritizes work-life balance, with direct access to the principal architect, promoting mutual respect and occasional team lunches.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $40.86/hr.
