Job Title: Mid-Level ArchitectJob Description

We are seeking a Lead Architect who is passionate about solving complex problems, particularly within data center environments. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in client interactions and has a strong foundation in Revit. If you have experience with large-scale data center projects and enjoy leading teams in fast-paced, mission-critical work, this position offers a chance to be at the forefront of impactful design.

ResponsibilitiesLead architectural design for hyperscale and colocation data centers from concept through commissioning.Shape design strategy to support performance, security, scalability, and client business goals.Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.Produce and review Revit models, drawings, and technical documentation.Present design direction and updates to clients and senior stakeholders.Oversee code compliance, permitting, and mission-critical standards.Mentor junior team members and support design quality across projects.Contribute to proposals, early concepts, and client-facing materials.Stay current on data center trends, technologies, and industry best practices.Essential SkillsProficient in Revit7+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 3 years focused on data centersProject management experienceConstruction drawings and documentation experienceStrong architectural design and design development skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBA/BS in Architecture or equivalent experience/educationU.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the workLicensure preferred (Registered Architect or on path to licensure); additional accreditation is a plusWork Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
