Job Title: Multi Family Architect Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and over five years of experience in designing and managing new construction projects, particularly in high-rise, mixed-use, multi-family, commercial, and hospitality buildings. The role involves supporting a large low-income housing project in East New York, guiding it from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration. You will be responsible for producing detailed drawing sets using Revit. Responsibilities + Support the development of a large low-income housing project in East New York. + Work under an Associate to bring the project from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA). + Produce detailed drawing sets using Revit. + Engage in design development and construction document preparation. + Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure design objectives are met. + Apply knowledge of architectural codes and zoning regulations. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Architecture. + Over 5 years of experience in architecture, focusing on new construction and high-rise buildings. + Proficiency in Revit. + Experience with design development and construction administration. + Familiarity with NYC architectural projects and regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with AutoCAD. + Strong understanding of codes and zoning. + Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients. + Exposure to multi-family residential and affordable housing projects. Work Environment The position is based at our office located at 1359 Broadway, New York, NY. Work schedule is five days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with very little overtime expected. The work environment is business casual. You will be part of a collaborative team structure, with each project led by a Partner or Associate Partner, Project Manager, and several intermediate architects. Consultants typically focus on one project at a time, providing an opportunity to deepen expertise and contribute to significant architectural projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
