Job Title: ArchitectJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team and support a large low-income housing project in East New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new construction, specifically ground-up high-rise buildings, and will be responsible for design development and construction administration. You will work under an Associate to bring the project through construction administration and produce drawing sets using Revit.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and development of a large low-income housing project in East New York.Work under an Associate to progress the project from Schematic Design (SD) to Construction Administration (CA).Produce detailed drawing sets using Revit software.Collaborate with a team to ensure project specifications are met.Coordinate with clients and team members to achieve project goals.Ensure adherence to codes and zoning regulations.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Architecture.5+ years of experience in architecture.Proficiency in Revit.Experience in new construction, particularly with high-rise, mixed-use, multi-family, commercial, and hospitality buildings.Familiarity with design development and construction administration processes.Experience with projects in New York City.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD.Knowledge of architectural codes and zoning.Proven experience working with clients.Strong design development skills.Work Environment

The position is based in New York City at 1359 Broadway. You will work in the office five days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with very little overtime expected. The dress code is business casual. Our team structure involves six partners, each leading their own projects with dedicated teams. You will be assigned to one project at a time, led by a Partner/Associate Partner, Project Manager, and several intermediate architects. The work environment offers exposure to a variety of projects, providing ample learning and career advancement opportunities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
