This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Diagnostics division.
We are seeking a seasoned Connectivity Architect to lead the design, investigation, and resolution of complex connectivity issues across our global portfolio of network-connected medical devices. This strategic role will bridge gaps between R&D, Quality, and Field Support teams, ensuring robust connectivity solutions that enhance product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
This is a global role supporting all CMI products, with travel to CMI sites and customer locations as needed for product investigations, issue resolution, troubleshooting, and implementation of connectivity improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience in connectivity architecture, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.Experience in TCP/IP, POCT communication, network diagnostics, and embedded systems.Proven track record of resolving complex connectivity issues in global deployments.Willingness and ability to travel internationally for product investigations and customer support.Preferred QualificationsExperience with medical device connectivity standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM, IEEE 11073).Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.Apply Now

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
