Program Summary
KBR maintains and manages Army stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of Army stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored at APS-3 are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides maintenance and supply support to ensure that equipment sets are maintained in a ready condition for issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.
Job Summary
Supports the APS-3 program by developing project plans, integrated schedules, and forecasting tools that strengthen logistics readiness. Coordinate with AFSBn-CHS and program leadership to execute and improve logistics operations. Contributes to asset management and KPI reporting, prepares clear professional documentation, and assists with proposals and cost estimates. Upholds KBR’s Zero Harm safety standards and performs additional duties to meet mission requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the development of APS-3 project plans detailing scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management plans
Participate in the execution, direction, evaluation, and implementation of logistical actions in support of the projects/programs between AFSBn-CHS, Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Supervisors.
Participate in the development of high-level integrated master schedules in accordance with the requirements or needs of the necessary stakeholders.
Refine systems and methods to continually improve schedule forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer requirements and needs.
Participate in the development of asset management products and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reports.
Demonstrate strong professional writing skills by producing clear, concise, and well-structured emails, reports, and documentation that effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Participate in preparation of proposals and estimates Uphold KBR's Zero Harm safety program policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must obtain and maintain local base access.
Must be capable of getting a minimum of a SECRET security clearance.
Working knowledge of GCSS-Army and strong computer skills
Highly proficient with Microsoft office suite, particularly MS-Project, MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power BI Data extraction, manipulation, analysis SQL (Structured Query Language) experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day.
Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day.
Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. – 50 lbs. periodically.
Must be able to squat, kneel, bend, reach and climb periodically.
Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Prior experience with Operations in military service or working with Army staff is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma training/certification is a plus.
Project management. PMI (Project Management Institute) certificates in Project Management and/or Scheduling is a plus.
Meeting requirements to deploy to include medical readiness and training is a plus.
Secret clearance is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years of applicable specialized military or military contracting experience can be used in lieu of formal post high school education on a one-to-one basis.

For hourly employees, the premium overtime is paid at time and a half.
