Program Duration:
12 Months (3 month – Basic Training and 9 months OJT)
Minimum eligibility criteria (Educational and/ or technical Qualification):
Diploma / Class XII with 3 years of experience in Warehouse/ Transport/ Courier / Air cargo operations and EXIM operations
(or)
Graduate in any field
Major Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:
The individual performs various activities for freight forwarding on export and import cycle. She/he prepares various documentation for export and import. The individual supervises daily operations of customs clearance, freight transportation and liaises with stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely clearance and shipment of cargo. She/he is also responsible for EXIM operations in office, customs clearance at field and freight forwarding.
+ Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
+ Adherence to Operational Process Standards
+ Daily tracking of shipments and corresponding documents
+ Work with the team to provide solutions to customers
+ Comply with customer requirements and procedures
+ Proactively communicate timely status updates to customers
+ Communicate with international and domestic customers and offices
+ Update shipment information in the Expeditors system
+ Track and trace international cargo
+ Timely settlement of shipments and filing of Tariffs
+ Preparation of reports, as required
+ Prepare and process international documentation
+ Comply with US and foreign regulations
