Job Description
The successful candidate will collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure consistent process adherence during critical operations. The equipment supported will include a combination of 100% inline inspection and offline sample gauges. As part of this role, you will be involved in developing future state technologies, helping to maintain our competitive edge in the industry.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and troubleshoot proprietary robotics sorting and inspection equipment.Utilize understanding of PLCs and HMIs to troubleshoot systems.Identify and resolve faults in robotics equipment.Support the engineering team with the integration of inspection equipment.Essential Skills1+ year of experience as a robotics or automation technician with a trade school certificate in a related field, or 3+ years of on-the-job experience.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.Experience in robotics system setup and HMI.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working for an automotive industry manufacturer.Familiarity with vision applications, pneumatic actuators, sensors, and drives.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is within a metals manufacturing setting housed in a very old building that is not climate controlled, which can get very hot during the summer. Recent improvements include new paint, lighting, and robotics systems.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.87 - $29.26/hr.
