Job Title: Apprentice ElectricianJob Description

We are seeking three dedicated apprentice electricians to join our team in the Richmond area. You will play a vital role in new construction projects within medical facilities, working under the guidance of an experienced electrical mechanic. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn the trade hands-on while contributing to meaningful projects.

ResponsibilitiesAssist electricians with the construction of new electrical systems.Drill holes and manage wiring through openings using hand and power tools.Measure, cut, and bend wires and conduits as required.Essential SkillsCompletion of hours towards an apprentice program.1-4 years of electrical experience.Commercial or industrial background.Basic understanding of blueprints.Proficiency with basic electrical hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsIdeal candidates will be enrolled in an apprentice program.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work primarily in medical environments such as hospitals and outpatient units, focusing on renovation and sometimes new construction. Operate in small crews within professional settings, where maintaining a professional appearance is essential. Standard work hours are day shifts totaling 40-45 hours per week, with a lunch break. Work clothing and PPE are provided and required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charles City, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
