Job Title: Apprentice Electrician
Job Description

We are seeking 30 dedicated electrical laborers to join our team for an exciting solar project. You will be involved in underground installation work, including installing solar panels, running conduit underground, and above-ground wiring. Additionally, you will perform various labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.

ResponsibilitiesInstall solar panels in accordance with project specifications.Run conduit and wiring both underground and above ground.Perform labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper installation.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Conduct conduit bending and pipe bending.Essential SkillsElectrical experience, particularly in solar projects.Proficiency in conduit and wiring installation.Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.Competence in reading blueprints and industrial schematics.Skill in pulling wire and conduit bending.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 1 year solar electrical experience within the last 3 years.Michigan Apprentice Card is required.Classification as an apprentice or top helper in non-solar industries is preferred.OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not mandatory.Openness to perform labor and non-electrical related tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work outdoors on a solar project in Milan, MI. Engage in a new construction environment with six shifts per week, consisting of five-hour shifts Monday through Friday and an additional Saturday shift often lasting 5-8 hours. The workday begins at 7 AM with three breaks: a 15-minute morning break, a 30-minute lunch, and a 15-minute afternoon break. Safety talks are conducted each morning prior to starting work. Proper work attire is mandatory, including steel-toed boots, no shorts, and no tank tops.

This is a Contract position based out of Milan, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
