**Job Title: Fire Systems Apprentice** **Job Description** The Fire Systems Apprentice will assist the lead technician in various job duties related to fire protection systems, including electrical installation, pipe fabricating, system installations, and servicing/testing of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity for on-the-job training and career advancement in the fire protection industry **Responsibilities** + Assist lead technician with the review and understanding of new project information + Use hand and power tools for mechanical work and installation tasks + Pull wire through conduit, walls, and drop ceilings as part of system installations + Bend, cut, and install conduit following the NEC code **Additional Qualifications:** • Previous experience in fire alarm or fire suppression is a plus • Basic understanding of electrical systems and familiarity with electricity fundamentals • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overnight shifts if required • Relevant certifications such as NICET, OSHA, BICSI, ICC, or Electrician License are a plus • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school experience is an advantage • Basic understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics • Ability to work well in a team setting and maintain a positive, professional attitude • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a drug screening **Essential Skills** + $25+/hour (based on experience)! + First shift availablity + Long-term growth opportunity within the company + pay raises and bonuses! ****APPLY IMMEDIATELY TO SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW!!**** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
