The Regulatory Automation and Capabilities Modernization trainee apprentice will be responsible for supporting Product Owners and Data Architects for the finance modernization and reporting automation goals within the organization. The role will involve structured training, collaboration and opportunity to experience the dynamic world of Amex Finance and Regulatory Reporting every day.
Key responsibilities
Support Product Owners and Data Architects in regulatory reporting automation design and implementation phases.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues related to regulatory reporting.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated reporting processes, including system configurations, data mapping, and validation rules.Demonstrates ability to understand system architecture and interlinkagesIdentify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing reporting processes and workflows through automationCollaborate with other Finance teams/functions in gathering relevant and reliable information to meet the requirements of the roleSupport data quality checks on documents, ensuring they are complete and follow templates.Qualification, Skills and Experience Requirements
Graduates (Computer Science/Information Technology or Finance workstream) with(out) maximum of 11 months of experience preferredHands-on experience on SQL and familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts.Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), automation tools/techniques (RPA, ETL tools, Machine Learning etc.), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) will be preferred.Knowledge of banking products and regulatory reporting exposure will be preferred.Working knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExhibits positive attitude, agility and willingness to learn and developWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
