We’re hiring an Applied Chiller Service Technician in Los Angeles, CA to service, repair, and troubleshoot complex commercial HVAC systems with a focus on chillers.

Deliver expert diagnostics and service on applied HVAC equipment

Support client operations with minimal downtime and high reliability

Represent the company as a trusted technical resource

Responsibilities

Service and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers (screw, centrifugal, magnetic bearing)

Perform advanced diagnostics, teardowns, and overhauls

Support startups, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance

Communicate clearly with clients on issues and solutions

Maintain accurate records and follow safety and OEM procedures

Requirements
Must-Haves

12+ years of commercial mechanical HVAC experience

5+ years hands-on with applied systems, especially chillers

Skilled with air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal units

Based in the Los Angeles area with a strong work history

Excellent troubleshooting, mechanical, and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

Manufacturer training or certifications (York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, etc.)

Centrifugal teardown experience

Industry certifications (EPA Universal, OSHA 10/30)

Experience with controls or BAS integration
