**We're looking for a skilled Applications Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Building Management Systems for one of our key clients. You'll play a vital role in creating efficient and sustainable building solutions, encompassing system integration, user interface design, on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. **What You Will Do:**
+ Be responsible for the master systems integration of BMS, ensuring seamless operation and integration of various building systems.
+ Engineer user interfaces and set up control systems based on project specifications and sales proposals, creating intuitive and functional systems for clients.
+ Program control applications for operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices, ensuring compatibility and efficient operation.
+ Perform on-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications to verify proper operation according to project specifications and design documentation.
+ Offer on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers, including training on the use of the installed system.
+ Diagnose system issues, determine corrective actions, and restore systems to proper operating conditions, ensuring optimal performance.
+ Be responsible for completing assigned projects according to schedule and within budget, coordinating with contractors and ensuring successful project completion.
+ Act as the technical liaison between the owner, construction managers, and other project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
+ Develop system graphical user interfaces, according to project specifications or sales proposal.
+ Perform final walkthrough with owner and construction manager to ensure all punch list items are complete and job received signoff of substantial completion.
**What You Will Need:**
+ Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years of related industry experience, or equivalent experience.
+ Proficiency in programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, and termination details.
+ Experience with various software tools for control application programming.
+ Experience with system analysis and diagnostics.
+ Experience with control and HVAC systems and their terminology.
+ Experience with BMS commissioning, programming, and user interface engineering.
+ BMS software platform knowledge: Tridium Niagara or similar.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret technical documents and solve complex problems.
+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work independently.
+ **Willingness to work some nights and holidays when requested and travel across EMEA.**
+ Valid driver’s license would be an asset.
