Position Title: Senior Engineer Applications Development

Job Summary

Mercer Services Delivery group is seeking a Senior Engineer. Primarily focused on Mercers Global Billing, Time Entry and Workflow systems.

Job Description

Candidate should have 3-4 years of experienceEnsures quality of technology deliverables by contributing to and communication of standards and best practices for development, quality assurance, security and service on-boarding.Performs and documents architecture modeling and design, designs software components, message/interface design, processes, and data flow to meet system requirements and defines and implements flexible, reusable and maintainable architectures.Participate in technical design and review. Develop and deliver good quality code.Review code; creates and maintains documents as a part of the solution delivery process.Conduct POCs against new technologies or innovation ideasWork with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop technical specifications to resolve them.Resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.Communicate with members of the IT team on a regular basis and may serve as a point of contact.Have a working knowledge of Database design

Experience & Skills

Hands-on experience in designing and coding on .NET/MVC applications.Strong experience withC# ASP .NET, MVC, .NET CoreJava Script, JQueryWeb APISQL ServerGood knowledge of CSS and HTMLGood Understanding on GitHub/ADOStrong knowledge of API creation and integration.Good to have knowledge of Bootstrap, Telerik Controls and Kendo UIDesigning API interfaces & documentation using Swagger, understanding of API authorization and access control patterns, familiarity with industry standard API gateway.Experience with DevOps Pipeline.
