What this job involves:

As an Application Support Engineer at JLL, you will be the technical backbone supporting our diverse technology ecosystem within JLL Technologies and third-party platforms. Working alongside our Global Technology Applications Director, you will take ownership of critical technology platforms, ensuring seamless operations while driving innovation and efficiency across our organization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and contribute to the development of standardized operating procedures that enhance our operational capabilities. What your day-to-day will look like:

Take ownership of specific technology platforms within JLL Technologies and third-party vendors, ensuring optimal performance and smooth operations

Collaborate with technology owners to document processes and develop best practices for platform utilization across teams

Manage daily technology access provisioning and coordinate interdepartmental access approvals under the supervision of the Global Technology Applications Director

Support semi-annual SOC2 auditing processes and maintain compliance standards across all managed platforms

Troubleshoot technical issues and streamline processes to optimize operational efficiency of technology platforms

Implement automation solutions, workflows, app scripts, and AI enhancements to improve overall system performance

Contribute to the development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for reporting and data governance initiatives

Provide training and technical support to users, ensuring effective platform utilization and adoption

Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

1-2 years of proven experience in a technology-focused role with exposure to application support or system administration

Strong foundational knowledge of technology platforms and willingness to learn new systems quickly

Experience with process documentation, automation tools, and scripting languages

Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools with understanding of data governance principles

Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in technical environments

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Smartsheet, Organizer, Plex, or similar enterprise platforms

Background in commercial real estate technology or property management systems

Familiarity with SOC2 compliance and auditing processes

Knowledge of automation platforms and workflow optimization tools

Experience with API integrations and data migration projects

Understanding of cloud-based technologies and SaaS platforms

Previous experience in a client-facing or internal support role
