Job Summary:
As a Application Support Engineer within the Securities Services team, you will support the development of innovative pricing, risk, and trade management tools across all asset classes and financial instruments. You will work on complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology, partnering closely with clients to shape the product roadmap and influence the commercialization strategy. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Tackle complex problems at the intersection of finance and technologyContribute to a new business initiative within JPM that influences the commercialization strategyPartner with asset managers, hedge funds, and investment advisors to understand their needsCollaborate with high-performing teams within JPM to inspire innovation and champion change

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experienceProficiency in scripting languages to support the live platformStrong skills in complex financial systems, application support, Unix/Linux, Unix Shell, Bash scripting, Python, Oracle SQL, and monitoring critical systemsExperience with Grafana, Geneos, Control-M, and ITIL Level 2 support processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including network technologies and protocolsApplications Support / SRE / DevOps experienceMonitoring of critical systems in Production environments
