This position is responsible for providing Application Engineering and Electrical Technical Support to the engineering and sales teams, representative firms, and end customers. The role requires significant customer interaction to support the sales process, assist in marketing technical products, and provide guidance on new offerings related to low-voltage switchgear and high-capacity surge suppression solutions for AC, DC, telecom, industrial, and high-speed industrial Ethernet applications.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for Electrical, Technical, and Application Engineering support.Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to develop customer-driven products and solutions from concept through completion.Provide field engineering support, including site visits and audits as needed.Partner with the Marketing team to develop technical marketing materials.Produce white papers that explain the application, benefits, and performance of company products.Evaluate opportunities for new product development and initiate proposals to address emerging market needs.Deliver training to customers, sales teams, and representative firms on the proper application and use of company products.Essential SkillsBSEE or MSEE degree required2 - 5 years of related experienceAbility to communicate technical information in a sales-related environmentKnowledge of North American AC power infrastructure and applicable standardsPractical, hands-on approach to troubleshootingAdaptable to changing company needsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with power protection in telecommunications, energy, defense, solar power, industrial automation, and/or control industries is helpfulExperience with manufacturing processes is a plusWork EnvironmentCollaboration with sales staff and customers will take place through phone calls, video conferences, and on-site meetings. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach and adaptability to changing company needs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
