CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Cloud Data Modernization position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 11 months Key Responsibilities: Lead large-scale cloud data modernization and transformation initiatives Architect and execute ETL solutions and like-for-like data migrations (Oracle to PostgreSQL/SQL Server, Data Warehouse to Data Lake, relational to NoSQL) Translate business requirements into scalable, cloud-based technical solutions Build prototypes and POCs using agile methodologies Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Python and data engineering Strong ETL and large-scale data integration experience Hands-on with Java, Kafka/MQ, AWS/cloud, and CI/CD Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, RDS, Data Lakes, NoSQL, XML/JSON Ab Initio and Capital Markets (derivatives) experience a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
