Position Title: Apigee API Engineer Duration: 4-6+ months with high possibilities of extension Location: Remote Pay Rate: $44/hr on W2 Job Description: 1. Apigee API development 2. Spring Boot 3. Architectural Design Responsibilities: As a Technology Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement. You will define solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Master proficiency in Apigee is required. Expert proficiency in Spring Boot is recommended. Expert proficiency in Architecture Frameworks, Architectural Design, Technology Architecture, and Datadog is suggested. Lead the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions that align with business objectives. Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment. Continuously evaluate and improve existing architecture to enhance performance and scalability. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for technology architecture and design. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team. < API Management Administrator • Install, configure, and administer API Management platforms including Gravitee and Apigee OPDKacross multiple environments. • Perform platform upgrades and migrations, including on-prem to Kubernetes-based deployments and version-to-version migrations. • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot API gateways and components on VMs and Kubernetes (K8s), ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient operations. • Configure platform features such as security, traffic management, analytics, monitoring, and high availability. • Work closely with development, SRE, and security teams to support API lifecycle management, operational readiness, and production stability.
