Who we are looking for
State Street’s Data Intelligence (DI) unit is seeking an experienced Managing Director–level leader to drive the delivery, expansion, and innovation of data‑driven products across the APAC region, with a primary focus on PriceStats and broader economic and data intelligence solutions.
The Data Intelligence team builds and scales differentiated data products leveraging State Street’s proprietary datasets, including PriceStats, the world’s leading source of high‑frequency inflation analytics, and Private Capital indices derived from extensive private equity and private credit data.
This role will play a critical leadership position in expanding DI capabilities in APAC while partnering with global teams to establish and lead a new Poland-based delivery hub, jointly responsible for DI product delivery and execution.
The ideal candidate combines deep data and quantitative expertise with strong people leadership, delivery ownership, and the ability to scale global teams.

This is a highly visible leadership role that directly contributes to long‑term client outcomes and the firm’s broader data and analytics strategy.
What you will be responsible for
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery and evolution of Data Intelligence products, with a strong focus on PriceStats and economic data solutions.Own and drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine‑learning solutions using State Street’s proprietary data assets.Provide strategic and people leadership to DI teams, including direct responsibility for building, setting up, and leading the Poland-based DI delivery team in close partnership with global stakeholders.Oversee methodological research, data quality, and product robustness, ensuring solutions meet high analytical, technical, and client standards.Partner closely with technology, research, product, and business teams to scale DI platforms, APIs, and client-facing analytics.Act as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for stakeholders, communicating analytical insights, product roadmap, and delivery progress to senior management and clients.Drive talent development, succession planning, and a strong engineering and data culture across regions.What we value

Strong expertise in data science and analytics, including Python, SQL, machine learning, AI, APIs, cloud‑based data platforms, and modern data‑engineering practices.Solid foundation in quantitative financial methods, economics, or applied statistics, with experience working on large, complex financial and economic datasets.Proven experience translating business and client needs into scalable, production‑ready data products.Demonstrated ability to lead and scale global, cross‑regional teams, including offshore or near‑shore delivery models.Exceptional communication, stakeholder‑management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively at senior executive level.Strong delivery mindset, balancing innovation, rigor, and execution.Strong understanding of Gen AI and demonstrated experience adopting open‑source frameworks to improve scale and growth.3+ years hands‑on Gen AI experience with a strong track record delivering AI solutions and platforms.Education & Preferred Qualifications
