Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
Location: On-site – Westbrook, Maine
Position Summary:
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Westbrook, Maine. This on-site role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and experience in processing a high volume of invoices. The AP Specialist will be responsible for entering and scanning 100–200 invoices per week, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter AP invoices into the ERP system on a daily basis.Scan and electronically file all invoices and related documentation.Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper approvals and coding.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing.Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and records.Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Qualifications:
1–3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting, filtering).Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position located in Westbrook, Maine.Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, ME.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
