Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Westbrook, ME About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support their finance operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, along with a variety of administrative support tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: + Process vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency + Perform administrative support tasks including: + Running and printing checks + Printing, sorting, and scanning invoices + Filing and organizing financial documents + Assist with month-end accounts payable close activities + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payable transactions Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred + 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting support + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Why Work With Our Client? + Supportive and collaborative team culture + Opportunity to contribute to a well-established organization + Competitive compensation and potential for long-term engagement Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
