AP/AR Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator to efficiently manage our company's payable and receivable duties while recommending improvements for operational efficiency. The AP/AR Coordinator will oversee all aspects of vendor and customer management, including onboarding, day-to-day AP/AR invoice processing, AP payment runs, and expense reimbursements.
Responsibilities
+ Perform all day-to-day AP and AR processing, including weekly and ad-hoc payment runs.
+ Set up and maintain AR billing schedules, including ad-hoc billings.
+ Onboard new vendors and customers.
+ Assist in month-end close activities.
+ Respond promptly to inquiries, research, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
+ Prepare annual 1099s.
+ Process expense transactions via Navan.
+ Support the accounting group and collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Systems to implement process improvements via automation and workflows to achieve a 10-day close schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
+ Intermediate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
+ Experience with NetSuite preferred.
+ Experience with AP Automation software required; experience with Tipalti AP Automation software is preferred.
+ Willingness to work cross-functionally with other teams, including Operations, Sales, and FP&A.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
+ Ability to work 2-3 days per week from Durham, NC HQ.
+ Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
