AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Corporate & General Aviation

Supporting a diverse range of aircraft across corporate, general aviation, and commercial operations. This role includes travel throughout the Midwest and mainly Chicago as part of a rotating AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response team.


Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircraft both in-hangar and during AOG travel assignments.Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for AOG response; optional AOG travel opportunities available outside of scheduled rotation.Float between multiple STL-area locations as needed, including support for commercial operations (e.g., Allegiant at MidAmerica Airport) and general aviation (flight school aircraft).Lead project management for assigned maintenance tasks, including coordinating updates with flight departments, maintenance control teams, and aircraft owners.Communicate directly with passengers, owners, and stakeholders during AOG events to ensure timely return-to-service and a high level of customer service.Maintain detailed documentation that goes beyond standard logbook entries to clearly tell the story of each project.Qualifications3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance; AOG experience strongly preferred. Candidates with a strong interest in AOG work but limited direct experience will also be considered.Corporate/private airframes; experience with operators such as Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream FAST, Jet East, NetJets, or Flexjet is a plus.Strong communication skills. Clear, professional documentation.

Work Environment & Schedule

Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexibility required).Weekly 7-on/7-off on-call rotation for AOG travel, including weekends and after-hours.Travel radius of approximately 300 miles (frequent trips to Chicago; occasional travel to cities like Kansas City, Indianapolis, Nashville, Little Rock, and Des Moines).Travel typically conducted in teams of two technicians.Work performed in a non-climate-controlled hangar environment.Company culture emphasizes quality workmanship and fast return-to-service turnaround times.Why Join?Be part of a growing AOG operation with opportunities for overtime and travel pay.Gain exposure to a variety of aircraft and maintenance environments.Work for a company that supports multiple aviation sectors, including private, commercial, and flight school operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
