Job Title: Maintenance Technician ($24-36)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and repair of various mechanical and electrical components on laminators, wrappers, presses, ink, and slitting machines. These machines are integral to creating flexible packaging solutions for well-known brands such as Oreos, Tide, and Ritz crackers.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on mechanical components including swapping out blades, and changing bearings, bolts, shafts, and hoses/pumps.Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components, including PLC systems, single/3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and cabinets (480v-120v).Apply basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC for facility maintenance.Ensure adherence to GMP maintenance standards.Conduct troubleshooting for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Essential SkillsProficient in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance.Ability to perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs.Skilled in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, including PLC and schematics.Basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes a warm setting during the summer and in certain areas. It is a GMP environment dedicated to packaging. The position offers three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2pm, M-F), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, M-F) with a $2 premium, and 3rd shift (10pm-6am, S-T) also with a $2 premium. The facility is equipped with locker rooms for all employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
