Anthropologie is seeking a Creative Strategist to join the Brand Voice team. This net new role is central to evolving the role of copy and narrative from execution into concept and creative strategy.
While you are well versed in best practices by channel and media placement, the purpose of this role is to serve as a key dot-connector—translating customer insight, cultural signals, channel KPIs, and brand strategy into clear creative territories, concepts, and format recommendations. You bring agency-level rigor to our in-house team, with a proven ability to turn marketing strategy into creative strategy that inspires anyone executing the work.
You’re obsessed with culture from all angles: whether macro culture, pop culture, or fashion and lifestyle signals that get to the why of our customer. You are future-forward, comfortable thinking at the campaign level as well as always-on, and adept at balancing the art and science of it all. You’ll be seen as the connective tissue, creating a cohesive creative point of view.
This role will be based in Philadelphia, PA.
Role Responsibilities Pioneer the discipline of creative strategy from the seat of Brand Voice, translating strategies into high-level concepts, creative territories, and frameworks.Develop creative strategies and briefs that clearly define the problem, insight, idea, and executional guardrails for channel and creative leads.Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including brand and social strategists, writers, and creative producers.Partner with cultural insights and trend research teams to synthesize macro cultural signals into actionable creative POVs, readouts, and opportunity spaces.Support the Manager of Content & Communications Strategy in recommending messaging placement and format strategy across the content ecosystem.Integrate SEO/AEO, performance insights, and emerging AI-enabled tools as inputs to creative strategy, ensuring ideas are designed to travel, perform, and be discovered.Contribute strategic thinking to long-form editorial, site content, and social storytelling where concept and narrative are critical. Role Qualifications 6–8 years of experience in creative strategy, communications planning, or brand storytellingAgency, media, publishing, or in-house experience within retail, fashion, or beauty preferred.Strong instincts for cultural insight, audience psychology, and narrative development.Comfort navigating ambiguity and influencing across a highly matrixed organization.Familiarity with performance marketing metrics, SEO/AEO, and AI platforms as strategic inputs.#Anthropologie #LI-EC1
