JOB DESCRIPTION: + Your mission is to accelerate the development of the novel antenna technologies at the core of our next-generation approach to LEO satellite communications. You will be responsible for research, simulation, design, optimization, testing, and calibration - leading to the rapid deployment of these technologies in an operational satellite constellation. MUST HAVE SKILLS: + Experience with one of the following: + Frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) + Metamaterial arrays + Experience with antenna design. Open to any antennas but preferably one of the following: + Reflector array / reflectarray + Transmitter array / transmitarray + Electronically scanned antennas (ESAs / AESAs) + Experience with preferably multiple of the following: + RF design + Component characterization + PCB layout / PCB design + Strong in simulation, ANSYS HFSS, but also open to CST + Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be ITAR compliant as a US Persons ( Green Card or US Citizen ) + Masters or PhD in specific fields listed above (no professional work experience required) WORK SCHEDULE: + Can make exceptions for some hybrid work, but when we get to testing phase, you’ll have to be on-site and be in our lab and work through results with antenna team on-site in real time. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Long Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $240000.00/yr.
