Our Network Operations team works around the clock running United’s global operation, safely, reliably and efficiently. From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.

Job overview and responsibilities

Aeronautical Data Analysis is a critical component in supporting the worldwide daily operation and future flight schedules and requires communication between internal and external agencies to ensure mission success.The Data Analyst is an integral component of the Dispatch team and acts as the central point of contact for review, monitoring, and extraction of pertinent Aviation Aeronautical data for Dispatch related to Aeronautical Publications, Circulars, Supplements, NOTAMs, and Aeronautical Flight Publications.      

The position supports Dispatch, Flight Operations, and the NOC. The position performs operational data extraction from numerous data sources and assists in the maintenance of sophisticated flight planning tools, airport, aircraft, MEL databases to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policy ensuring all flights can be performed safely, efficiently, and according to their mission timelines.  
The Aeronautical Data Analysis is also responsible for the generation and provision of Aeronautical briefings and ensures Dispatch staff is fully apprised of the relevant aeronautical changes.

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degreeAirport operations work experience2 years in data analytics or related course workIn-dept knowledge and understanding of aeronautical data, airport and airspace systems to support world wide operations, charter operations and  dispatch operations  Must be detailed oriented with expertise in effectively reviewing and extracting relevant aeronautical data and aviation informationStrong business and data analysis skills and strong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skillsSolid interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork and collaborationAssist Senior Manager Dispatch Operations and/or as directedMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
